CALIMA organizes kitecamps for beginners, intermediate and advanced kitesurfers. kitesurfing holidays Lanzarote
 If you wish to combine your surfing holidays with a kite course or do the complete kite course with FKI certification we have designed several packages for you.
These packages include accommodation in "Caleta de Famara" (inside Famara Natural Park) away from mass tourism and 100m from the beautifull beach of Famara (6km of fine sand). You can enjoy a great surfing holiday in confort, surfing and kiting in the crystal warm waters of Lanzarote.
The Kite lessons are given in Famara beach, This playa on the Northwest of Lanzarote, usually during low tide hours for better safety. 6 Km sandy beach.
To initiate yourself on this magnificent sport you don't need to be "extremely fit". It is a very easy sport to learn. With the IKO teaching programms you'll learn in a fast and safe way...
Kitesurfing combines the adrenalin and technics of surf, windsurf and wake boarding turning it into one of the most spetacular water sports known. Kitesurf, surf and windsurf look hard to lear but in reality are very easy. Most technics can be simulated on the beach and with a proper training program you'll get the basics in just a few days...

The kitesurfing school has last generation CABRINHA, Takoon kites and SEFON boards, wetsuits and all material necessary. Also a Zodiac for when conditions require.
With the 4 days course (Kite Camp package - 4 days), beginners will be self suficient and ready to free ride... in full safety not only for them but for the others also.
You'll learn the basic about setting up your own gear, and free ride... always depending on the learning capacity of each own... The kitesurf school is a FKI oficial kite centre with all instructors level 2 certifications I.K.O
Classes are in English, Italian or Spanish.

Please note: It is important to know that if the wind conditions were unfavorable during your stay in Lanzarote and you did not want to do any other activities (surfing, windsurfing, diving, or hiking), Calimasurf promises to return the total amount paid for the contracted hours of kite surfing that you were NOT able to use, simply pay the amount of lodging in the camp or apartment.
