Hello Deby,
I hope you are doing fine and the weather is still as beautiful in Lanzarote.
I am back in France, and as I missed the 2 last days of my course, I just wanted to say a proper goodbye to the amazing team of Calimasurf, and say thank you for the diploma (which I didn't feel I deserved really...) and the photos.
Although I had that migraine on Thursday -so unlucky, I never know when that thing can hit me, and then my whole day is lost in pain- I wanted to come on Friday, but then the group decided to visit the island instead of doing some more water sport... It was fun seeing the volcano and the wines, but I missed swallowing sea water and pretending to surf on the sand, and most of all I missed being able to say goodbye to our monitors. Please tell them what a lovely time we had with them, so kind, good fun, professional, we really had an unexpectedly excellent course and nice human contacts too, which is always a big pleasure. I'm really sorry I didn't pass by to tell them myself, but as I don't drive I couldn't just take a car and come.
I'm sure I'll soon be trying to stand up on a board again and will be smiling thinking of your comments and encouragements.

quisiera agradeceros una vez más el buen trato y los buenos momentos que
hemos pasado en Famara la semanita de agosto. Hemos conocido gente muy interesante y lo hemos pasado en grande de verdad,
enhorabuena por vuestro surf camp!!!!

A ver Deby, que siempre me digo ahora la escribo unas letrillas para contarle todo y esas cosas y al final nunca encuentro el momento, asi que de hoy no pasa.
Cómo estas, cómo va todo?. Cuando volví de Lanzarote estuve una semana más de baja y en seguida me quitaron la férula y me liberaron el dedo(qué angustia) y pude empezar a moverlo y poco a poco he ido recuperando la movilidad. Me duele de vez en cuando y se va a caer la uña, pero ya tengo el dedo casi normal. Ya me comentó tu hermano que él estuvo un montón de meses con molestias y que tuviese paciencia.
Bueno, te escribía para darte las gracias por haber estado conmigo y acompañarme al hospital y darme unos mimitos, ji, ji y por supuesto haber cuidado de mi el resto de la semana; trayéndome los bocatas, llevándome a la playa a hacer las fotos, en definitiva, echando una manilla para que se me hiciese más corta la estancia sin el surf.
He de confesar que me vine nueva de descansar tanto.
Nos hemos venido todos encantados tanto con la profesionalidad, como con el trato recibido, asi que GRACIAS de nuevo.
Seguro que nos vemos en otra ocasión porque yo me he quedado con el gusanillo del surf. Un besito guapa. |

Hola a todos!
Triste de haber regresado a Italia, pero con mas ganas de surfear que nunca!
Queria agradecerles por todo los dias que me permitieron pasar en Octubre 08 y la semana pasada.
Lo pasé re-bien!!!
Un agradecimiento tambien a Andy y a Claudio por haberme enseñado un deporte que seguro se transformarà en pasiòn. Lanzarote es una isla maravillosa, y Famara un pueblo hermoso. No se preocupen... muchos italianos van a ir a visitarlos, porque contagiados por mi entusiasmo.Un abrazo a todos y que la pasen lindo! |

Hola Deby, Qué tal?Como al final me fui a primera hora, en lugar de al mediodía, no tuve tiempo de daros las gracias por la fantástica semana de surfcamp en famara y, ahora que ya estoy de vuelta en Barcelona echándola tanto de menos, quería agradeceros vuestra amabilidad y simpatía!
Para dar las gracias también a los 3 pedazo de monitores que tenéis, les he enviado un detallico tipo "happy pills" a la escuela y llegará entre mañana y el lunes. Si no te es molestia,cuando llegue a calima, ¿podrías por favor dárselo a Claudio, Gustavo o Andy como si no supieras nada?
Espero poder volver a veros en Famara antes de que este año acabe!!

Soy gabriela, fui alumna de la escuela en famara de Calima entre el 4 y el 8 de agosto
te escribo sólo porque me he estado acordando mucho durante el resto de las vacaciones del tiempo que pasé en vuestra escuela y vuestra playa y quería felicitarte por el trabajo que hacéis. fueron unos días divertidísimos y muy relajantes. el ambiente que lográis alrededor del surf es muy acogedor y agradable para todos, y resulta muy alentador en todo momento el mensaje que transmiten los profesores: positivismo, alegría, pasión por el deporte y la vida sana, y el sol...
en concreto, mi profesor en iniciación fue claudio que, ayudado por andy, me pareció todo un maestro. optimista, generoso, divertido, entusiasta... cualquier lección teórica era divertida y llena de contenido y de experiencia. además de claudio, todos los monitores nos trataron con muchísimo cariño y demostraron muchas ganas de ayudar y un espíritu generoso y nada competitivo, lo que considero muy importante a la hora de ayudar a gente a iniciarse en un deporte
bueno, deby, con todo esto sólo quiero daros las gracias a todos por vuestra atención y cariño, felicitaros una vez más por vuestro trabajo, y despedirme hasta la próxima... porque que seguro que habrá una próxima para mí!!!

| Eyyyy Claudio, Maike, Deby, Heriberto, Jose y todo el equipo Calima, simplemente querimos agradecerles las estupendas vacaciones que nos habeis echo pasar en Lanzarote, nunca pensamos que pudieramos aprender surf pero con Caludio ya sabeis que es todo posible, Claudio un millon de gracias por tu paciensia, hemos conocido muchos monitores en otros deportes pero como tu ninguno, no dejes nunca la enseñanza porque se te da excelente y tanto a mi como a Julio se nos ha metido el surf en la sangre y ya estamos pensando en darnos un saltito para Navidades y otro en Semana Santa ....se vive una vez jejeje ;-) ....nos vemos pronto y saludos a todos |

Hi Heriberto, Apologies for the delay in sending this, but I have a bit of a hectic week following my return from Famara. I would like to extend my thanks to you and your team for what was a wonderful and memorable trip. Both my friends and myself really enjoyed ourselves and we all thought that the assistance and accommodation provided was excellent. With regard to the lessons, please pass on my thanks to Claudio and Arran, the tips and advice (especially advice provided from Arran in numerous one-to-one conversations), have helped me personally to advance in my surf techniques and confidence in taking on more challenging surf conditions.If I choose to return to Lanzarote in the future, I will most definitely be in touch with yourselves, as the support throughout the planning and holiday itself made things very easy for us. Hi Heriberto, Debbie and Claudio, After a GREAT week of surfing with you guys last week we got back to Austria last night – it’s funny, how one week of surfing can alter your life ;-))) This week at Calimasurf will last for a couple of months and I hope that I will come back once again to catch up with you and the surf! I will be talking to my friends at the Health-Club if we are doing a surf-trip to Lanzarote instead of our week of Mountainbiking in Italy – especially as we could combine the mountainbiking with the surfing on Lanzarote.....One question: can you give me the email-addresses of Gonzalo (the Argentinan from Nashville, USA) and Marco (the Venezuelan from London)? I didn’t meet them at the surfhouse anymore but I wanted to catch up with them...It was a really great time with you and I will tell my friends about Calimasurf ;-))) Hope to see you soon – have a good week and all the best from sunny and warm Austria, Sven
